Al-Baqarah · 2:263
۞ قَوْلٌ مَعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَا أَذًى ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيمٌ
So katharo a mapiya, go so kapmaap na tomo a di so sadka a pkhatondog a kapanakit sa ginawa. Na so Allah na Kawasa, a Matigr.

263. A kind word that makes a believer happy or forgiveness of the one who is ill-mannered is better than charity followed by harm caused by reminding the person of the favour. Allah is in no need of His servants; and because He is tolerant with them, He does not often quickly punish.
