قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُنَّ إِذْ رَاوَدْتُنَّ يُوسُفَ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ ۚ قُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلَّهِ مَا عَلِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ سُوءٍ ۚ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ الْعَزِيزِ الْآنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّ أَنَا رَاوَدْتُهُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
५१. (राजाने) विचारले, हे स्त्रियांनो! त्या वेळची खरी कहाणी काय आहे, जेव्हा तुम्ही कपट करून यूसुफला त्याच्या मनापासून बहकवू इच्छित होत्या? त्यांनी स्पष्ट उत्तर दिले की (अल्लाह जाणतो) आम्ही यूसुफमध्ये कोणातही वाईट गुण पाहिला नाही, मग तर अजीजची पत्नीही उद्‌गारली, आता तर सत्य उघडकीस आलेच आहे. मीच त्याला बहकविणयाचा प्रयत्न केला होता त्याच्या मनापासून (विचलित करण्याचा) आणि निःसंशय तो खऱ्या लोकांपैकी आहे.

51. The king, addressing the women, asked what happened when they called Joseph through trickery. Was it to commit immorality with them?
