أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنْذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ قَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَاحِرٌ مُبِينٌ
२. काय त्या लोकांना या गोष्टीचे आश्चर्य वाटले की आम्ही त्यांच्यातल्या एका माणसाजवळ वहयी (अवतरित संदेश) पाठविली की समस्त मानवांना (अल्लाहचे) भय दाखवावे आणि जे ईमान राखतील त्यांना ही खूशखबर द्या की त्यांच्या पालनकर्त्याजवळ त्यांना पुरेपूर मोबदला आणि मान-सन्मान लाभेल. इन्कारी लोक म्हणाले की हा माणूस खात्रीने स्पष्ट जादूगार (तांत्रिक) आहे.

2. Are the people amazed that Allah has sent revelation to a man like themselves, instructing him to warn them about the punishment of Allah, and telling those who have faith in Allah the good news that they will have a high rank with their Lord, glory be to Him, as a reward for the good actions they did? The disbelievers said that this man who came with these verses was clearly a magician.
