يَوْمَ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا انْظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِنْ نُورِكُمْ قِيلَ ارْجِعُوا وَرَاءَكُمْ فَالْتَمِسُوا نُورًا فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِسُورٍ لَهُ بَابٌ بَاطِنُهُ فِيهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ
13. (Fumitiriza) olunaku abananfusi abasajja na bannanfusi abakazi lwe baligamba abo abakkiriza, nti mutulinde tulabise ku kitangaala kya mmwe, walirangirirwa nti mudde emabega wa mmwe (gye muvudde) munoonye ekitangaala, olwo nno waliteekwa wakati waabwe ekikomera nga kiriko omulyango, nga munda waakyo (ku ludda eribeera abakkiriza) waliyo okusaasira, ate nga ebweru waakyo (ku ludda eribeera abananfusi) ebibonerezo gyebiriba bisibuka.

13. On the day when the hypocrite males and females will say to those who brought faith in Allah and His Messenger: “O believing men and women! Wait for us; perhaps we can take a flare of your light that will help us cross the Bridge?” It will be said to the hypocrites, mocking them: “Turn back and find the light which you can use for yourselves!” A wall will then be placed between them which will have a door; the inner side on which the believers are will have mercy in it, while the outer side on which the hypocrites are will have the punishment.
