۞ وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنْتُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
90. Netusomosa abaana ba Israil ennyanja olwo ne Firawo n'abawondera n'amagyege mu ngeri ey'obulabe n’obulumbaganyi, okutuusa lwe yatuukibwako okuzikirira mu mazzi olwo naagamba nti: nzikirizza nti mazima ddala tewali Katonda asinzibwa mu butuufu okugyako oyo abaana ba Israil gwe bakkiriza era nze ndi mu basiramuse.

90. I made the Israelites safely cross the sea after I split it open. Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of oppression and enmity. Then, when the sea closed on him, bringing them to the point of drowning and he lost all hope of being saved, he said, ‘I believe that there is no being worthy of worship besides the One Whom the Israelites have accepted, and I am one of those who submit to Allah by following Him’.
