Luqman · 31:15
وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰ أَنْ تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۖ وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا ۖ وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
"Kuma idan mahaifanka suka tsananta maka ga ka yi shirki game da Ni, ga abin da bã ka da ilmi gare shi, to, kada ka yi musu ɗã'a. Kuma ka abũce su a cikin dũniya gwargwadon sharĩ'a, kuma ka bi hanyar wanda ya mayar da al'amari zuwa gare Ni, sa'an nan zuwa gare Ni makõmarku take sa'an nan In bã ku lãbãri game da abin da kuka kasance kunã aikatãwa."

15. And even if your parents strive to incite you upon ascribing partners to Allah according to their ignorant/arbitrary understanding - like what the mother of Sa‘d bin Abī Waqqāṣ did to him - then do not obey them in that, because there is no obedience to the creation in the disobedience to the Creator. Rather, live with them in the world with goodness, maintaining ties and friendship. And follow the path of those who proclaim My oneness repeatedly and obey Me; to Me alone is your return on the Day of Judgment so that I may tell you of the actions you used to do in the world and requite you for them.
