Al-Mu'minun · 23:76
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
૭૬) અને અમે તે લોકોની પકડ યાતના દ્વારા કરી, તો પણ આ લોકો પોતાના પાલનહાર સામે ન ઝૂક્યા અને ન તો આજીજી કરી.

76. I tested them through different afflictions, but neither did they humble before their Lord or submit to Him nor did they pray to Him submissively so that He lifts the afflictions from them when they befall.
