إِذْ قَالُوا لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
૮) જ્યારે, તેમણે કહ્યું કે યૂસુફ (અ.સ.) અને તેમનો ભાઇ પિતાને આપણા કરતા ખૂબ જ પ્રિય છે, જો કે આપણે (શક્તિશાળી) જૂથ છે, કોઈ શંકા નથી કે આપણા પિતા સ્પષ્ટ ભૂલ કરી રહ્યા છે.

8. At that time, the brothers said among themselves: Joseph and his full brother are more beloved to our father than we are, whereas we are a group large in number. Why does he prefer them to us? We think that our father is mistaken in preferring them to us without any apparent reason.
