ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَىٰ ۖ كُلَّ مَا جَاءَ أُمَّةً رَسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ ۚ فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ بَعْضًا وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ ۚ فَبُعْدًا لِقَوْمٍ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Sitten lähetimme sananjulistajia toisen toisensa jälkeen, mutta kun kansa sai lähettilään luokseen, se kielsi hänet, jolloin Me annoimme kansan seurata toistaan ja teimme ne pelkiksi taruiksi. Siten häipykööt pois uskottomat kansat.

44. I then sent My messengers in succession, one after the other. Each time the Messenger came to his nation he was sent to they rejected him, so I successively destroyed them, leaving nothing except for the tales of people regarding them. So destruction be to the nation that does not believe in the message brought to it by a messenger sent to it!
