۞ وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۚ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا تَنْقُصُوا الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ ۚ إِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ وَإِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ مُحِيطٍ
Ja Midianin (heimon) luo Me lähetimme heidän veljensä Shuaibin. Hän sanoi: »Oi, kansani! Palvelkaa Jumalaa, teillä ei ole muuta jumaluutta kuin Hän. Älkää antako vajavaista mittaa tai painoa. Minä kyllä näen teidän hyvinvointinne, ja minä totisesti pelkään, että suuren päivän tuomio kohtaa teidät.

84. We sent to Madyan their brother, Shu’ayb, who said: O my people, worship Allah alone. You have no other god that deserves to be worshipped besides Him. Do not give people less in the measure of volume and weight when you deal with them. I see you in prosperity and with blessings, so do not change Allah’s favour to you by committing sins. I fear for you the punishment of an encompassing day that will reach every one of you and from which you will not find any place to run to or seek refuge in.
