Surah 19 · Juz 16
Maryam · 19:97
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنْذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُدًّا
(97) So, [O Muḥammad], We have only made it [i.e., the Qur’ān] easy in your tongue [i.e., the Arabic language] that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.
Tafsir
97. We have made this Qur’ān easy by revealing it in your own language, O Messenger, so that you may bring glad news to those who are mindful by fulfilling My instructions and avoiding My prohibitions, and so that you may warn a people who are harsh in disputing and stubborn in accepting the truth.
