Al-Hajj · 22:34
وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَكًا لِيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِنْ بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ ۗ فَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَلَهُ أَسْلِمُوا ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُخْبِتِينَ
Und für jede Gemeinschaft haben Wir einen Ritus festgelegt, damit sie den Namen Allahs über den aussprechen, womit Er sie an den Vierfüßlern unter dem Vieh versorgt hat. Euer Gott ist ein Einziger Gott, so seid Ihm ergeben. Und verkünde frohe Botschaft denjenigen, die sich demütigen,

34. For every previous nation I made rites to shed blood, as a means of closeness to Allah, in the hope they will remember Allah at the time of slaughtering these sacrificial animals, and in gratitude to Allah for the camels, cows and sheep He granted them. Your true god, O people, is One God who has no partner, so submit to Him alone through submission and obedience. And O Messenger, tell those who are humbly submissive and sincere what will please them.
