إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
Když poslové k nim přišli zepředu i zezadu hlásajíce, aby neuctívali nikoho kromě Boha, odpověděli: "Kdyby Pán náš chtěl, byl by věru anděly seslal. A my nevěříme v to, s čím byli jste posláni."

14. When their messengers came to them, each following the other in bringing one message, instructing them to worship none other than Allah alone. The disbelievers said, “If our Lord wished to send down angels as messengers to us, He would have sent them. Therefore, we reject whatever you have been sent with, because you are humans like we are.”
