Al-Mu'minun · 23:24
فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ
Však velmoži ti, kdož nevěřící byli z lidu jeho prohlásili: "Tohle je pouze smrtelník jako vy a nad vámi chce se jen vyvyšovat. Kdyby byl Bůh chtěl, byl by určitě anděly seslal. A neslyšeli jsme o ničem takovém od otců svých dávných.

24. So the noblemen and leaders from his people who disbelieved in Allah said to their followers and the masses, “This man that claims to be a messenger is only a human like yourselves; he only desires leadership and rule over you. If Allah wished to send a messenger to you He would have done so by sending one from the angels, not from the humans. We have not heard anything like what he is claiming from our predecessors!”
